Educational Qualification:
- For the posts in OTA and IMA candidates must holds Degree of a recognized university/correspondent
- For Indian Naval Academy posts appliers must holds Degree in engineering programme from an acknowledged university.
- For Air Force Academy posts; candidates must holds Degree of a recognized university with Math and Physics at 12th Level.
Age Limit:
Candidate’s age should be between 18 to 24 years old. Age relaxation
is available as per govt rules and regulations.
Examination Fees:
- General/OBC Candidates need to pay – Rs. 200/-
- Female candidates and SC/ST candidates do not need to pay any fee for this examination.
The payment should be done from any branch of SBI or else
you can also pay the fee via online mode through SBI Visa / Master Credit or
Debit Card.
Selection Process:
- Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of written exam.
- Then shortlisted candidates will be called for SSB (Service Selection Board).

- Starting date of CDS online registration – 7th November 2015
- Last Date of Apply Online form – 4th December 2015
- Examination date – 14th February 2016
- Starting date of CDS online registration – 16th July 2016
- Last Date of Apply Online form – 12th August 2016
- Examination date – 23rd October 2016
- First of all visit the official website of UPSC that is www.upsconline.nic.in.
- After opening the home page go on “Online application for various examinations of UPSC” link.
- Select the Link ‘Combined Defence Services Examination (I) or (II)’.
- Here the link of Part I and Part II registration process will become visible.
- Complete Part I registration system and upload scanned photo and signature.
- After that, make payment of application fee through proper manner.
- Then again revisit official website and proceed to Part II registration system.
- Enter Bank Transaction ID number and other details and press “Submit” button.
- Candidates should take the print copy of dully filled application and keep it safely for further use.
